High Tech Copywriting
It takes a special kind of copywriter to handle high tech. It’s part writer, part marketer…and part translator, figuring out what those tech folks are really talking about so you can write words that work. The We Know Words team has all those skills.
XYPRO Technology Corporation
As high tech copywriters for XYPRO, we write ads and direct mail pieces that market the company’s encryption software and services while tying into an annual theme. The trick here is to be creative enough to catch the reader’s eye, but factual enough to educate them just a little bit more about XYPRO. (Design by StarDesign Studio)
“They’re great to work with. They’re very intelligent and understand the technical side of the client as well as can help direct them with marketing and copywriting. They’re also creative when it comes to concepting.”
–Shannon Krig, Principal, StarDesign Studio
When Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft partnered on a new product launch, we were the B2B copywriters who provided copy that got customers’ attention while telling the technical tale: We wrote compelling copy for the front, and detailed the specifics on the back. This rush project was especially challenging because we were charged with determining the features, benefits and customer pain points without any client input. We were right on with our messaging however. No revisions were required! (Design by The GSD Group)
Other high-tech companies we’ve worked for as freelance copywriters include Dexterra, T-Mobile, Business Objects, CA and Symantec, to name only a few.
